France West Coast - Calais to Avranches

The cliffs at Criel-sur-Mer are pretty amazing aren't they? They build houses quite close to the edge and you have to wonder about the cliffs eroding and how safe the houses are. Maybe they weren't close to the edge originally when they built them??? This area is called the Cote (Coast) Picardie.
